Procedures for 9/28/11

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (9/28/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 我會說/会叫各色各樣/样的中國/国點/点心。

功课: WB page 57 (#1-#2) + WB page 58 (#1 / #3) + WB page 56 column I.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Check WB page 51.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 66-67.  3) Teach new characters with terms (粽, 包, 糕, 餅, 粽子, 包子, 蛋糕, 餅乾, 月餅).
  2. 2.      Correct invitation card.  Due next Wednesday, 10/5/11.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (9/28/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can acquire knowledge about Study Abroad program.  2) 我會說/会说中文.   我聽/听得懂中文會話/会话.

功课: 1) WB page 83 #6-#12.  2) Read text passage on page 107.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Makeup work (Kathryn/Jay: WB page 76).  2) Return WB/WB page 76 + Skit.  3) Go over WB page 77 answer section.    4) Review text page 116 for full understanding.  Q/A session (Reading comprehension Part II).  5) Read thermometer activity.  6) Go over H/W page 83 #1-#4.    .
  2. 1) Skit performance (Aashna/Colin; Heidi/Wyatt).  2) Listening comprehension: WB page 80—redo again tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/28/11)

Objectives: 1) I can orally express and aurally comprehend numbers in Chinese.  2) I can tell the differences among d, t, n, and l consonants.

Homework: 1) WB pages 20-21.  2) Review learned syllables.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your childhood pictures, if any.  2) Dictation (d, t, n).  3) Complete d, t, n, l handout.
  2. 1) Oral quiz.  ó 2) Seat work: WB pages 20-21.  It is your homework if not completed in class.
  3. Flash card activity.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/28/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say colors, sports and animals in Chinese.  2) I can learn from other students’ work for my art project.

Homework: 1) Review learned colors.  2) Practice saying your sentences.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (huang se, hong se, hei se, bai se, cheng se, cong se, lu se, lan se).  2) Teach new terms (hui se, zi se, fen hong se, zui, xi huan).
  2. 1) Pass out / go over sports handout.  2) Write sentences #8-#10.  3) Read sentences #1-#10.  Collect tomorrow.
  3. More art project samples (PPT, baking, movie, craft, etc).
