功课: 1) 邀請卡/skit draft => 下星期三交. 2) Text passages on pages 66-69.
程序 (ChéngXù):
1. 1) Check WB pages 51 / 56. 2) Chapter test: listening comprehension. 3) Conversation practice.
Procedure for HS Chinese III (9/30/11)
目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can give description of clothes / house layout. 2) I can comprehend weather description.
功课: 1) Text passages on page 107. 2) WB page 81.
程序 (ChéngXù):
- 1) Work in Media center classroom next Monday. 2) Skit #4 draft due Wednesday, 10/5/11 (minimum 10 sentences). 3) Listening comprehension quiz: Wednesday, 10/5/11. 4) Reading comprehension quiz: Friday, 10/7/11.
- Ni Hao 2 Lessons 4-6 character review quiz.
- Work on skit #4.
Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/30/11)
Objectives: 1) I can master consonants d, t, n, l with precision. 2) I can tell the difference among g, k, h, j, q, x consonants.
Homework: 1) Review learned syllables. 2) Practice reading text passages on page 20. 3) Finish writing new characters. Know their meaning and pronunciation.
Procedure:
- 1) Childhood picture due next Monday. 2) Take one copy of g, k, h, j, q, x handout. 3) Makeup work (2P: Jonan: oral + WB pages). 4) Quiz #5 (d, t, n, l).
- 1) Go over audacity instruction handout. 2) Show the seating chart in media center.
- 1) Introduce websites: 1) www.learningchineseonline.net 2) www.inputking.com
- 1) Teach (g) sound. 2) Read text passage on page 20. 3) Teach new characters (2P: 土, 石).
Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/30/11)
Objectives: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese food. 2) I can name 11 colors in Chinese.
Homework: Complete your art project. Due next Monday.
Procedure:
- 1) Makeup work (3P: Dominic, Katrina). 2) Quick review. Quiz #4. 3) Return draft #2. Practice reading sentences #1-#10. 4) Showcase art project bad examples. 5) Showcase 10 Chinese sentences => clarify the expectations.
- Cultural reading: Chinese food.
