Procedure HS Chinese III (9/7/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) 我會/会形容天氣/气.   2) 我會問和回答問題/我会问和回答问题.  I can ask/answer questions.

功课: 1) Goals for Chinese III this year.  5 English sentences, please.  2) 寫生字.  3) Round robin reading: page 105.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in pen pal letter and your 6-term dialogue writing assignments w/checklists.  2) Take one copy of I Can statements.
  2. 1) Go over I Can statements.  2) Teach new characters with terms (夏, 秋, 冬, 台, 北; 夏天,秋天, 冬天, 台北, 电视台, 东西南北, 舞台).
  3. 1) Dictation.  2) Read text passage 105.  3) Conversation activity.

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (9/7/11)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can write Chinese characters.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about China.

Homework: 1) Review learned greeting terms.  2) Complete character writing assignment.  3) WB page 1.

Procedure:

  1. 1) School supplies? (7P: Justin, Amari).   Makeup work??.  2) Quick review (greeting terms + characters).  3) Read Lesson One pages 1-6.  Show Chinese publications.
  2. Teach new characters.
  3. Go over major cities in China / DVD: Places in China.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/7/11)

Objectives: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese arts.  2) I can write Chinese characters.  3) I can say simple greeting terms.

Homework:  1) Review learned greeting terms.  2) Complete character writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work?  2) Quick review.  3) Cultural reading.  Show Chinese publications.
  2. Teach new characters.
  3. Go over major cities in China / DVD: Places in China (Beijing + Shanghai).
