Procedure for HS Chinese III (10/25/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can describe and present a city’s weather condition by applying technology to create a PowerPoint, video, Publisher, or Glogster product.

功课: Practice conversation and reading text passages.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. Weather project presentation.

 Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (10/25/11)

Objectives: 1) I can tell the difference among simple compound vowels.  2) I can read Chinese text passages fluently.  3) I can comprehend basic greeting terms and common classroom expressions.

Homework: 1) Review text passages on pages 8-10.  2) Practice saying sentences in Review Sounds 1 packet.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work???  2) Teach (ai, ao).  3) Go over Review Sounds 1 packet page 3.
  2. Go over Chinese Club application form.
  3. Pair activity: 1) Practice saying sentences on pages 1-3.  2) Read text passages on pages 8-10.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/25/11)

Objectives: 1) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.  2) I can say simple Chinese numbers and recognize Chinese characters for numbers.  3) I can explain Chinese counting principle.

Homework: 1) Review learned numbers and characters.  2) Review Chinese counting principle.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Collect your number character writing assignment.  2) Quick review (yi, er, san, si, wu, liu, qi, ba, jiu, shi, ling, bai).  3) Pass out number table and explain Chinese counting principle.  4) Count from 1 to 100.
  2. Showcase art project samples (movies and singing).
  3. Prepare paper for origami.
