Procedures for 11/8/11

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (11/8/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can describe illness and  follow medical instructions.

功课: 1) Write new characters.  Know their meaning and pronunciation.  2) Study for vocabulary quiz next Tuesday (11/15/11).

程序 (ChéngXù):

1) Review all vocabulary learned so far.  2) Review text passages on pages 79-81.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (11/8/11)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can talk about school subjects/subject preferences or preparing/cooking meals.

功课: 1) Practice conversation sentence patterns.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 3-5.  3) WB page 8.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Makeup work?  Return 9 sentences writing assignment.  2) Skit Performance ó Q/A session.
  2. Pass back Reading Comprehension quiz.  Review text passages, questions, and answers.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (11/8/11)

Objectives: 1) I can reflect on my own study strategies and time management skill.  2) I can identify people and state people’s age

Homework: 1) WB pages 23 (Section B), 24-25.  2) Read text passages on pages 23/25.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Self-assessment worksheet and one copy of Lesson Four text passages slip.  2) Permission slip?  Menu selection will be mailed out to you tonight.  Tell Ms. Chang how many people are going with you and your menu selection tomorrow.
  2. Oral quiz ó 1) Preview Review Sounds 1 packet page 5.  2) Self-assessment worksheet.  Collect.  3) Oral practice: I am < name >, I am < # > years old, Who are you?  How old are you?  Who is he/she?  How old is he/she?  4) Practice reading text passages on pages 23/25.  5) WB page 23, 24-25

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (11/8/11)

Objectives: 1) I can acquire Chinese terms for animals and sports.  2) I can read Chinese sentences fluently.  3) I can name colors in Chinese.

Homework: Review learned colored terms.    

Procedure:

1.   1) Return papers.  2) Prepare unit #4 flash cards (index cards, glue sticks, colored strips).  Collect for grades.

2.   1) Teach new terms (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  2) Read sentences #1-#7.

3.   (5P) Pass out animal handout.  Go over sports handout
