Procedures for 1/10/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (1/10/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can compare and contrast Chinese and American cultural and societal differences through viewing a Chinese movie.  2) I can hold a 4-minute conversation.  3) I can give and follow directions.

功课: 1) Bonus points for midterm questions (both electronic version and hard copy) and conversation question prompt (flash card) due tomorrow.  2) WB pages 34/36.  3) Scene 3 comprehension questions.

程序 (ChéngXù):

1.   1)   Take one copy of Scene 4 Comprehension Questions.  2) Go over worksheet.  3) Showcase sample works.  4) Go over possible answers

2.   1) Quick review (上面, 下面, 里/裏面, 外面, 前面, 后/後面, 对/對面, 反面, 左边/邊, 右边/邊, 旁边/邊, 东/東, 西, 南, 北).  2) Go over/Read text passages on pages 32-33 (到, 在, 过/過, 第#个/個,#个/個).

3.   1) Conversation practice.  2) Movie time (Scene 3).

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (1/10/12)

Objectives: 1) I can review and practice sentence patterns for my midterm.  2) I can hold a simple conversation.

Homework: WB pages 33/34.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (family paragraph).  2) Makeup work (2P: family paragraph: Lance, Joy, Josh, Ben, Brynne; family picture: Joy, Lance, Ben, James, T.J., Brynne, Travis, Jonah; 7P: family picture: Abigail, Kelley, Maddie, Alex, Jennifer, Justin, Amari; family paragraph: Syam, Jennifer, Amari, Alex).  3) One unidentified picture???
  2. 1) Pass out word bank slip.  2) Writing practice.  3) Conversation practice.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (1/10/12)

Objectives: I can say colors, phone number and address in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#7.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (3P: hong se, huang se; 5P: hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  2) Teach new terms (3P: hei se, bai se, lan se, lu se; 5P: lan se, lu se, zi se, zong se).  3) Makeup work (5P: Donnie, Anha, Ryan and Andre—get a pass for E/I tomorrow).
  2. 1) Review address format.  2) Write sentences #6-#7.  3) Practice reading sentences #1-#7
