Procedure for HS Chinese III (2/16/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can talk about and express my opinions and preferences of leisure activities.  2) I can compare and contrast cultural difference and value systems between China and America.

功课: 1) 写/寫新生字.  2) Scenes 10-11 Movie Discussion Questions due tomorrow.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Take one copy of scenes 12-18 movie discussion questions.  2) Return scenes 7-9 movie discussion questions.  3) Turn in makeup work by Tuesday, 2/21/12.  Interim report cards will go out next week.
  2. 1) Go over scenes 12-18 movie discussion questions.  2) Teach new characters with terms (周/週末, 一块儿 = 一起, 兴/興, 趣, 请/請).
  3. 1) Go over text passages on pages 42-43.  2) Practice conversation questions.

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (2/16/12)

Objectives: 1) I can name various animals.  2) I can sing Chinese songs.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese legendary animal: pandas.

Homework: 1) Study for your Lesson 7 chapter test: Wednesday, 2/22/12.  2) Complete and type your movie discussion questions.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Supplementary animal terms and song lyrics.  2) Check all script hardcopy and Google Docs.  3) Recite first four zodiac animals by next Friday, 2/24/12.  Lesson Seven chapter test: Wednesday, 2/22/12, and skit presentation: Tuesday, 2/21/12.
  2. 1) Go over Supplementary animal terms.  2) Song time.  3) Culture reading: text pages 65: The Legend of Pandas.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (2/16/12)

Objectives: 1) I can construct sentences to introduce my family members.  2) I can explore Chinese version rock, scissors and paper game.  4) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese family structure.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#4.  2) Review number table for quiz #3 tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Practice reading your sentences #1-#3.  2) Quick review (baba, mama, gege, didi, meimei, jiejie, sui, jia, you, ge ren).  3) Teach new terms (he, liang)
  2. Write sentences #4.
  3. 1) Finger guessing game tournament.  2) Cultural reading: Chinese family structure.
