Procedure for HS Chinese IV (2/3/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can discuss travel plans, read travel brochures and flight timetables, assess photographs, talk about travel preparations and seeing someone off on a trip.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your Lesson Seven character worksheet and your WB.  2) Complete all your text passages reading by the end of today (pages 96-98).
  2. Lesson Seven chapter test.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (2/3/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can apply learned materials (shopping, clothes, weather, directions, math, date and time) to an Amazing Race activity.

功课: N/A

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your Scenes 5-6 movie discussion questions.  2) Course recommendation?   3) All pairs wear your wrist band and get a plastic bag with your passport instructions.
  2. Good luck to your Amazing Race project.

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I at 2P/7P

 

Objectives: 1) I can use proper measure/counting words for animals.  2) I can talk/write about my pets.  3) I can compare and contrast Chinese and American cultural differences through watching a Chinese movie.  )

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) Know all meanings/sounds of learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (狗, 马/馬, 猫/貓, 鸟/鳥, 金, 鱼/魚, 金鱼/魚).  2) Teach new characters (宠/寵, 物, 匹, 只/隻, 条/條).  3) Course recommendations?
  2. 1) Conversation questions.  2) Writing practice: what kind of pets do you have, how many pets do you have?  What is its name and it age?
  3. Movie time.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese at 3P/5P (2/3/12)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese tea.  3) I can say numbers in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Study for your quiz on Monday, 2/6/12.  2) Complete rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Check your paper-cutting patterns.  Collect for grades.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Ni Shi, Wo Shi, Zhang Lao Shi, Zai Jian, Zao, Ni Zao, Zao An, Zao Shang Hao, Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Qi Li, Jiang Li, Zuo X, ia, Qing Zuo, Lao Shi Hao, Tong Xue Men Hao, Dong Le ma, Dong  Le, Bu Dong, Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi).  3) Teach Chinese numbers and write Chinese characters (yi, er, san, si, wu).
  2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese tea.  2) DVD: Chinese tea culture.
