Procedure for HS Chinese III (3/30/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can comprehend oral presentation.  2) I can ask questions in Chinese.

功课: 1) Study your note for presentation quiz: Monday, 4/2/12.  2) Round robin reading (pages 63-65): Monday, 4/2/12.  3) Prepare mini quiz for your video presentation.

  1. 1) Turn in your video project hard copy, video file and rubric.  Get one copy of Lesson Six Text passages.  2) Turn in your WB 62 for Ms. Chang to check.  3) Electronic version of text passages will be e-mailed to you this afternoon.

  1. 1) With your PPT checklist as a reference, add new sentences / edit existing sentences / insert pictures into your current file.  1) Use the following editor: http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=tools and click Type Chinese from the middle of left-hand menu.  When a window pops up, you click either Mandarin Pinyin – Simplified or Mandarin Pinyin – Traditional.  You then enter pinyin and select appropriate character.  2) To format pictures, right click any pictures in your PPT file, a menu will pop up.  Click format picture (bottom), and when another pop-up window shows, click compress (lower left), then click All pictures in document and OK, Apply and OK to exit out the menu.

程序 (ChéngXù):

1.   1) Take turns sharing a picture with 10 sentences.  2) Take turns narrating 6 pictures with 5 sentences.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (3/16/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can say simple conversation questions.  2) I can research information and create a music video, a cooking lesson, or news broadcast in Chinese.

功课: 1) Review learned Lesson Six vocabulary.  2) Study your lyrics/cooking procedure/broadcast announcement thoroughly!

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. Complete 25 conversation questions.  Turn in your final draft (typed!) to Mr. Goodman by the end of class period.
  2. Be sure you understand all the meaning/pronunciation of your song lyrics, cooking procedures or news broadcast.  Jot down information as to how you will divide your work between partners/among group members.  This piece of information will be part of your project grade.\
