Procedures for 3/26/12

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (3/26/12)

目標: 1) I can demonstrate that I have mastered the key vocabulary in Lesson One Part I.  2) I can orally express how I enjoyed my holidays.

功課: 1) Read 4th/5th passages by Thursday, 3/29/12.  2) WB page 4.  3) Lesson One Part I chapter test: Thursday, 4/5/12.

程序:

  1. 1) Turn in your 4-sentence writing assignment and WB page 1.  2) Pass out adjective/adverb handout.  3) Quiz #1.
  2. 1) Read 4th/5th text passages on page 2.  2) Go over adjectives/adverbs.

 

 

Procedure for HS Chinese III (3/26/12)

目標: I can demonstrate that I have mastered important adjectives and verbs for comparison statements.

功課: Round robin reading pages 63-65: Thursday, 3/29.

程序:

1.   1) Return interview questions.  2) Makeup work (Wyatt, Colin, Brad, Michaela, Caelan, Cait, Kate, Adam, Nate—interview questions).  3) Draw for your 4th quarter seat.

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (3/26/12)

Objectives: 1) (2P) I can check my PPT for presentation details.  2) I can name various sports.

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) Share your PPT file with Ms. Chang tonight.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review.  2) Draw for your 4th quarter seat.  3) (2P) Check out some students’ work.  4) Introduction to Camp OFLA.   Check your e-mail for details.
  2. 1) Learn new characters with terms (跑, 步, 骑/騎, 车/車, 游, 泳, 跑步, 骑车/騎車, 骑马/騎馬, 游泳).  2) Complete grammar worksheet.  Go over answer key.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (3/26/12)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Chinese counting principle.  2) I can demonstrate that I have mastered the sounds and characters for Chinese numbers.

Homework: Review Chinese counting principle.

Procedure:

1.   1) Quick review (yi, er, san, si, wu, liu, qi, ba, jiu, shi, ling, bai, ri, yue, shan, mu, shui, huo, ren, kou).  2) (3P) CD: 1-7.  3) (5P) Complete origami product.  Collect for grade.  4) Collect your Chinese character writing assignment.  5) Quiz #3: Monday, 4/2/12.  Pass around sample quiz #3 paper.

2.   1) Teach Chinese counting principle.  (5P) Counting from 0 to 100.  2) Quiz #2.
