Procedures for 3/16/12

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (3/16/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can narrate a story based on a provided picture/images.  2) I can sight read text passage fluently.

功课: 1) Practice reading text passages 3rd paragraph.  Sight reading: Monday, 3/19/12.  2) Study text page 3.

程序 (ChéngXù):

1.   1) Take turns sharing a picture with 10 sentences.  2) Take turns narrating 6 pictures with 5 sentences.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (3/16/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can say simple conversation questions.  2) I can research information and create a music video, a cooking lesson, or news broadcast in Chinese.

功课: 1) Review learned Lesson Six vocabulary.  2) Study your lyrics/cooking procedure/broadcast announcement thoroughly!

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. Complete 25 conversation questions.  Turn in your final draft (typed!) to Mr. Goodman by the end of class period.
  2. Be sure you understand all the meaning/pronunciation of your song lyrics, cooking procedures or news broadcast.  Jot down information as to how you will divide your work between partners/among group members.  This piece of information will be part of your project grade.\

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (3/16/12)

Objectives: I can demonstrate that I can name various countries and share my language proficiencies.

Homework: Lesson Nine vocabulary definitions.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your Lesson Eight vocabulary worksheet.  2) Take one copy of Lesson Nine vocabulary worksheet.  3) Makeup work (PPT copy)
  2. 1) Lesson Eight chapter test.  2) Work on your definitions.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (3/16/12)

Objectives: 1) I can demonstrate that I have mastered basic Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper cutting.  3) (3P) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese major cities.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers (8 Chinese characters).  Makeup work (3P: Erin; 5P: Steelley, Taylor, Brenden, Jose).  2) Quick review (greeting terms).  3) Quiz #1.
  2. DVD: (3P) Beijing, Shanghai, & Chongqing / Paper Cut.  (5P) Paper Cut.
  3. Class activity: 1) Longevity & 2) Double Happiness paper patterns.  Will continue next week.
