Procedures for 4/2/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (4/2/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can comprehend Chinese dialogue through viewing/listening to Chinese videos/skits created by my peers.  2) I can talk about my physical appearance, interests and personality trait.

功课: 1) 写/寫新生字.  2) Individual work: 2 topics and 3 interview questions in English.  Due tomorrow.  3) Logic reasoning: bottom of text page 68.  Candy will be given for students turning in with correct answer.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your checklist, script and file.  Get your WB.  2) CAPA Assembly tomorrow.  1P: 7:25-7:55.  Reports to auditorium: 2P 1st half (8:00-8:38: 10th/12th graders); 2P 2nd half (8:43-9:21: 9th and 11th graders).  3) Please review your handbook pp.34 -35 for appropriate dress expectations – no athletic shorts, and no “short shorts.”  4) Makeup work (Colin, Jay, Wyatt—WB page 62).
  2. 1) Teach new characters (各, 各有千秋, 笨, 认/認, 认/認真, 挑, 剔, 挑, 剔, 管, 婆, 管家婆, 外婆 = 外祖母, 跟, 一样/樣, 怎么样/怎麼樣, 样/樣子).  2) Go over text passages on page 66.
  3. 1) Individual work: List 2 topics you are interested in and 3 interview questions for our guest speakers (Pacy Klein , Nick Zou) on 4/16/12.  2) Skit presentation.  3) Mini quiz.

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (4/2/12)

Objectives: 1) I can comprehend Chinese dialogue through viewing/listening to Chinese videos/skits created by my peers.  2) I can prepare for my Lesson Nine chapter test on Thursday, 4/5/12.

Homework: 1) WB page 62.  2) Study for chapter test.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (2P: Lance/T.J.: checklist, James/Jonah—skit + checklist; 7P: Matt—WB pages 60-61, Interview sharing + RR).  2) Go over text pages 79, 80-81, 82-84.  3) (2P) Interview activating sharing.
  2. Skit presentation.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/2/12)

Objectives: 1) I can construct sentences for my oral presentation.  2) I can name various colors in Chinese.  3) I can demonstrate that I have mastered Chinese counting principle in Chinese characters.

Homework: 1) Review learned color terms.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#6.

Procedure:

1.  1) Return papers (draft #1 + others—2P: Amanda, Peter W.) and explain grading criteria.  Makeup work (3P: Bliss; 5P: Taylor, Hope).  2) Pass out art project requirements slip + (5P) color flash cards.  3) Quiz #4: Thursday, 4/5/12.

2.   1) Construct sentence #6.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#6.  3) Teach new terms (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  4) Quiz #3.
