Procedures for 4/3/12

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (4/3/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can answer questions to describe things or people.  2) I can prepare for my chapter test on Thursday.

功课: 1) WB page 8 1-1-I.  2) Study for Lesson One Part I chapter test on Thursday, 4/5/12.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your WB pages 2 / 6.  2) Take one copy of Lesson One Part I Study Guide.  3) Go over study guide.  4) Go over WB page 7 (當時/当时, 正在, 經過/经过, 過來/过来, 認識/认识, 離開/离开).
  2. Oral quiz.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (4/3/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can apply what I have learned to create a skit.  2) I can describe my physical appearance, various interests and personality.  3) I can prepare for my chapter test on Thursday, 4/5/12.

功课: WB pages 63/66 + 10 sentences about your physical appearance, interests, and personality traits.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your 2 presentation topics and 3 interview questions.  2) Go over text pages 66/71/72.  Pay attention to terms (做事, 所以).   3) Listening activity: WB page 65 Section I.  Go over the answer key.
  2. Skit presentation.

 

**  CAPA assembly at 2P.  30 minutes for 1P.

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (4/3/12)

Objectives: 1) I can comprehend Chinese dialogue through viewing/listening to Chinese videos/skits created by my peers.  2) I can prepare for my Lesson Nine chapter test on Thursday, 4/5/12.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics Games and Chinese Taichi exercise.

Homework: 1) Study for Lesson Nine chapter test.  2) Lesson Ten character definitions.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Lesson Ten characters worksheet and one copy of Lesson Nine chapter test Study Guide.  2) Captains check WB page 62.  Go over the answer key.  3) (7P) Go over Study Guide.  4) Video segments.
  2. Skit presentation.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/3/12)

Objectives: 1) I can construct sentences for my oral presentation.  2) I can name various colors in Chinese.  3) I can pronounce sports and animals in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review learned color terms for quiz #4: Thursday, 4/5/12.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#7.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (3P: Bliss; 5P: Taylor, Hope).  2) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  3) Teach new terms (lan se, lu se, zi se, zong se).
  2. 1) Teach Review English address format.  2) Construct sentence #7.  3) Practice reading sentences #1-#7.
  3. 1) Pass out/go over animal and sports handouts.  2) Chinese tangram piece game ó Continue quiz #3.
