Procedures for 4/23/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (4/23/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can write a letter to a friend, relative, etc. 2) I can talk about my travel plan, travel preparation, and itinerary.  3) I can sight read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) 写新生字。2) Practice reading text passages on pages 74-75.  Round robin reading: Friday, 4/27/12.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Quick review (那么, 过, 要, 还有, 还要, 叔叔, 一起, 一同, 小提琴).  2) Teach new characters with terms (海, 上海, 桂, 林, 桂林, 签/簽, 签/簽字, 证/證, 证/證明, 签证/簽證, 学生证/證, 办, 办公室).  3) Read text passages on pages 74-75.
  2. Video project quiz.  / Answer questions for your letter writing ó Write your letter.  ó Free time.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (4/23/12)

Objectives: 1) I can introduce my friends.  2) (7P) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can sight read text passages fluently.  4) I can comprehend Chinese statements.

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) WB page 67.  3) Paragraph due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of text passages slip.  2) Captains check WB pages 63/66.  3) Quick review (头/頭,头发/頭髮, 长/長, 短, 脸/臉, 眼睛, 眉毛, 耳朵, 鼻子, 嘴巴, 朋友).  4) Teach new characters with term (王, 怡, 级/級, 年级/級, 上 ó下, 上车/車 ó下车/車, 上学/學,校, 学/學校, 校车/車, 校长/長).
  2. 1) Listening comprehension: WB page 64.  Go over the answer key.  2) Paragraph writing + Continue the conversation questions Q/A

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/23/12)

Objectives: 1) (5P) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and grading policy.  2) I can complete the Student Inventory worksheet.

Homework: 1) Student Inventory.  Due tomorrow.  2) Signature slip, due this Thursday.

Procedure:

1.   Sit on assigned seat.

2.   Get students’ team assignment information.

3.   Pass out, go over and fill in the Student Inventory.  Collect, if done.

4.   Pass out and go over Ms. Chang’s Classroom Rules and Grading Policy.
