Procedure for HS Chinese IV/III (4/16/12)

Objective: I can acquire cultural knowledge about the student life in Austria / China.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.  1) Take one copy of interview questions.  2) Make work (Collin & Michaela — makeup test, 10 awnrwnxwa/Lesson Six character worksheet).

2.  Welcome Pacy Klein and Nick Zou to Chinese IV/III class.  1) Presentation.  2) Interview questions.

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (4/16/12)

Objectives: 1) I can review for my semester exam.  2) I can describe my facial features.

Homework: Write new characters.

Procedure:

1.  1) Welcome back.  2) Return papers.  3) Makeup work (2P: Joy; 7P: Alexis).  4) Browse through Lesson Ten tex and go over expectations of Lesson Ten in PPT / Project.

2.  Teach new characters with terms.

3.  Review activities: 1) Lesson Nine puzzle.  2) Lesson Five puzzle.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/16/12)

Objectives: 1) I can introduce myself in Chinese.  2) I can apply what I have learned to create an art project.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese zodiac animals and giant panda.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#10 for your oral presentation on Thursday, 4/19/12.  2) Complete your art project.  Due on Wednesday, 4/18/12.

Procedure:

1.  1) Welcome back.  2) Return papers (quiz, drafts, etc.).  3) Makeup work (3P: Bliss; 5P: Sarah, Pammy).

2.  1) Practice reading sentences #1-#10.  2) DVD: Chinese Zodiac animals.  3) Cultural reading: The Legend of Giant Panda.  4) (3P) DVD: Chinese Programs in American Schools.

3.  1) Check out Chinese I class roster.  2) (5P) Check out Chinese class and Chinese Club activity.
