Procedures for 4/27/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (4/27/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can sight read sentences fluently.  2) I can comprehend and recognize all vocabulary in Lesson Seven.

功课: A paragraph of describing a picture due next Monday.  Present next Tuesday.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Work in Red Lab next Monday.  2) Ms. Chang checks WB page 71.  3) Telling a story practice—grab a picture and write ten sentences about it.
  2. 1) Round robin reading: pages 74-75.  2) Vocabulary quiz.  3) Write your paragraph based on a picture.  + Read your letter to Ms. Chang.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (4/27/12)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read passages fluently.  2) I can introduce myself and my friends in terms of grades and whether we are in the same class.  3) (7P) I can talk about my food preferences.

Homework: 1) Insert new paragraph into your PPT.  2) Complete sentences about your grade and your friend.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Lesson Ten chapter test: Monday, 5/7/12.  2) Take one set of Lesson Eleven character definitions.  3) (7P) Captains check Lesson Eleven characters definitions.  3) Read text passages on pages 85-86.  4) Round robin reading: pages 85-86.
  2. 1) (2P) Check out some Voki links + Write down Lesson Eleven character defintions.  2) (7P) Teach new characters with terms (饿/餓, 吃, 喝, 渴, 想).  Write sentences about your grade and a few sentences about your friend—his/her grade, name, and physical appearance.  Have Ms. Chang proof read your sentences.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/27/12)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can acquire geographical and cultural knowledge about China.

Homework: Review learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work—signature slip?  Collect China reading packet.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Hi Shi, Wo Shi, Lao Shi, Zai Jian,  Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao).  3) Teach new terms (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An).
  2. Culture reading (page 1).   2) DVD: Chinese calligraphy + Beijing.
