Procedures for 5/4/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/4/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can learn to use Movie Maker or Photo Story software to create a video about my travel plan.  2) I can describe my travel plan.  3) I can review learned material through playing interactive games.

功课: Review all learned terms.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your WB pages 72-73.  2) Click the following 2 links, www.travelchinaguide.com, http://www.chinafocustravel.com,  for tourist information.  Start writing your itinerary and script.  We will work in Red Lab on Wednesday to, 5/9/12, record your narration and type your script.  Ms. Chang will be more than happy to proofread your script.
  2. Google information about terms, pictures/images, etc. you need for your travel video project.
  3. If you are done, 1) open a WORD document, toggle between English and Chinese mode (lower right corner) to type in Chinese characters directly, 2) go to P drive and Ms. Chang folder, if you are done.  Click Ni Hao 3 for any lesson.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (5/4/12)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test next Monday.  2) I can acquire terms about food.

Homework: Study Lesson Ten.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of Lesson Ten Study Guide.  Turn in your Lesson Ten character worksheet next Monday.  2) Go over study guide.
  2. 1) Practice writing problems.  2) (2P) Take one copy of Lesson Ten supplementary terms handout.  Go over the handout for Chinese breakfast items.  (7P) Browse through Chinese cook books for ideas about your preference of Chinese food.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P (5/4/12)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can write Chinese characters.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese folk of paper-cuts.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  Quiz #1: Monday, 5/7/12.  2) Complete writing Chinese characters.  Due next Monday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (3P) Helpers coach your 8th peers with terms learned yesterday (Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Tong Xue Me Hao).  8th graders report to Ms. Chang at regular time, please.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Hi Shi, Wo Shi, Lao Shi, Zai Jian,  Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao, Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An, Qi Li, Jing Li, Zuo Xia, Qing Zuo, Dong Le Ma, Dong Le, Bu Dong, Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Tong Xue Me Hao).  3) Teach new terms (Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi).
  2. 1) Quick review (日, 月, 山, 木, 人).  2) Teach new characters (口, 水, 火).  Collect if done.  3) DVD: Paper cuts.

  1. 1) 8th graders report to Ms. Chang at regular time, please.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Hi Shi, Wo Shi, Lao Shi, Zai Jian,  Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao, Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An, Qi Li, Jing Li, Zuo Xia, Qing Zuo, Dong Le Ma, Dong Le, Bu Dong, Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Tong Xue Me Hao, Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi).
  2. 1) Quick review (日, 月, 山, 木, 人, 口).  2) Teach new characters (水, 火).  Collect, if done.  3) DVD: Paper cuts.  4) Pass out Longevity paper pattern.  Cut out the pattern.
