Procedure for HS Chinese IV (5/7/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): I can talk about my personality and school activities.

功课: Practice/Review oral comprehension questions.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Lesson One Passage Two chapter test: Monday, 5/21/12.  2) Listening comprehension test by Friday, 5/18/12.  3) Quick review (知道, 導師/导师, 好像, 聽說/听说, 認/认真, 關/关心, 過/过, 還/还沒有, 開班會/开班会, 對/对了, 選/选, 當/当, 為什麼/为什么).
  2. Conversation questions Q/A.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/7/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can talk about my traveling itinerary.  2) I can sharpen my listening and speaking skills through Q/A session.

功课: 1) Round robin reading (pages 76-77): Friday, 5/14/12.  2) WB page 75.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Pass out senior papers.  Lesson Seven chapter test: Friday, 5/18/12.  2) Makeup work (Colin, Wyatt, Melissa).  3) Practice reading text passages on pages 76-77.
  2. 1) Teach new characters with terms (从, 禁, 紫禁城, 坛, 天坛, 颐和园, 陵).  2) Conversation Q/A session.

 

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (5/7/12)

Objectives: I can talk about sports and my preferences of sports items.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.   1) Turn in Lesson Ten characters worksheet.  Return papers.  2) Lesson Ten chapter test.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/7/12)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper-cuts.  3) I can hold chopsticks to pick up food.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (3P: Justin, Trevor, Michael, Evan)—Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Return Chinese character writing papers.  Quiz #2: (7th graders): Monday, 5/14/12.  (8th graders): Monday, 5/21/12.  3) Quick review (Ni Hao, Hi Shi, Wo Shi, Lao Shi, Zhang Lao Shi, Zai Jian,  Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao, Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An, Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi, Shang Ke, Xia Ke, Qi Li, Jing Li, Zuo Xia, Qing Zuo, Dong Le ma, Dong le, Bu Dong, Tong Xue Men Hao).
  2. 1) Quiz #1.  2) (2P) Pass out longevity paper pattern.  Collect as participation grade.  3) (7P) Finish up longevity paper pattern.  Pass out double happiness paper pattern.  Collect both as participation grade.  4) Pass out chopsticks, cereal, and napkin to practice holding cereal with chopsticks.
