Procedures for 5/10/12

Procedure for HS Chinese IV (5/10/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can introduce my name in authentic way.  2) I can talk about personality traits.

功课: 1) 寫生字.  2) Practice reading text passages on page 6.

程序 (ChéngXù):

1.  1) Quick review.  Return papers (movie discussion questions).  2) Learn new characters with terms (興/兴, 吳, 呂, 陳/陈, 向, 外向, 內向).  3) Go over text pages 6-7.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/10/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can talk about my traveling plan, traveling preparation and traveling itinerary.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese scenic spots.

功课: 1) Round robin reading (pages 77-78) tomorrow.  2) 写/寫生字.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your WB page 80.  Go over answer key.  2) Quick review.  3) Practice reading text passages on pages 77-78.
  2. 1) Teach new characters with terms (秦, 始, 皇, 皇家, 雁, 塔, 大雁塔, 水塔, 兵, 俑, 兵馬俑).  2) Pair activity: WB page 78.  3) DVD: 頤和園 Summer Palace.
  3. Listening activity: WB page 79.  Go over answer key.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/10/12)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese number terms.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese leisure activities.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Complete rows of writing Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (yi, er, san, si, wu, liu, qi, ba).  2) Teach new terms and Chinese characters (jiu, shi, ling, bai).
  2. 1) (3P) Finger Guessing Game tournament + chopstick relay game.    2) (5P) movie: The Adventure of Panda + culture reading: Chinese tea.
