Procedures for 5/25/12

Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/25/12)

目標 (MùBiāo): 1) I can talk about illness and describe symptoms.  2) I can prepare for my semester exam oral part.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese traditional medicine.

功課: 1) Practice reading text passage on pages 86-87.  2) Practice oral exam.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Review terms (舒服, 可能, 觉/覺得, 早点點ㄦ, 一起, 先, 厕/廁所, 等, 那么/麼).  2) Go over passages on page 86-87.
  2. 1) Conversation questions practice.  Model Q/A session (Lillian).  2) Travel video presentation (Heidi).  3) DVD: Traditional Chinese medicine.



Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (5/25/12)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about food preferences.  2) I can prepare for my semester exam.

Homework: Study for your semester exam.


  1. 1) Captains check WB pages 77/79.  Go over answer key.  2) Practice writing samples.
  2. 1) Lesson Eleven Vocabulary Quiz.



Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/25/12)

Objectives: 1) I can name colors and sports in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky/unlucky number + Chinese school systems + Chinese yo-yo.  3) I can utilize online tool to type Chinese pinyin.

Homework: N/A


1.   1) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  2) Teach new terms (lu se, lan se, zi se, zong se).  3) Go over sports handout.  4) Teach pinyin typing tool:
