Procedure for HS Chinese IV (5/23/12)

目標 (MùBiāo): I can talk about personality traits.

功課: N/A

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Turn in your Lesson One Passage Two character worksheet + WB pages 10-12 + 14.  2) Lesson One Passage Two chapter test.

Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/23/12)

目標 (MùBiāo): 1) I can create a video to introduce my traveling plan, traveling preparation, and itinerary.  2) I can review for my semester exam.

功課: WB page 55.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Traveling video presentation.  2) DVD: The gardens in Suzhou.
  2. 1) Model conversation question Q/A session (Aashna, Antonio, Jay).  2) Individual/Pair review activity.  3) Conversation practice.

 

Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (5/23/12)

Objectives: I can create a PPT to talk about myself.

Homework: 1) Complete your PPT.  2) Practice reading your PPT.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your WB page 73.  2) Insert your sentences about food/drink into your PPT.  3) Evaluate your PPT with checklist.
  2. Go to P drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, 3rd edition, and click Lessons 9, 10, or 11 to play interactive game for review.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/23/12)

Objectives: 1) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese table manners.  3) I can construct sentences to introduce myself.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Quiz #4 (colors): Tuesday, 5/29/12.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Review telephone and address format.  2) Write sentences #6-7.  3) Practice reading sentences #6-7.  4) (5P) Check draft #1 grade.
  2. 1) DVD: Chinese table manners.  2) Showcase art project drawing samples.
