Procedure for HS Chinese III (5/30/12)

目标 (MùBiāo): 1) I can talk about illness and describe symptoms.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions in Chinese.

功课: 1) WB page 82.  2) Group oral exam: tomorrow.

程序 (ChéngXù):

  1. 1) Group oral exam tomorrow.  Bring any homework to do, if you are done with oral exam already.  2) Ms. Chang checks WB page 81.  3) Quick review (生病, 头/頭疼, 喉咙/嚨疼, 发烧/發燒, 感冒, 休息, 沒事, 怎么/麼啦 = 怎么/麼了, 舒服, 可能, 觉/覺得, 早点點ㄦ, 一起, 先, 厕/廁所, 等, 那么/麼, 肚子, 肚子疼, 拉小提琴, 拉肚子, 体/體溫,帮/幫忙, 暑假, 请/請假).
  2. Mode conversation questions Q/A (Nate, Adam, Kate, Claire).  2)



Procedure for MS Chinese I 2P/7P (5/30/12)

Objectives: I can showcase my Chinese proficiency today.

Homework: 1) Study for your group oral exam.  2) PPT file + printout + checklist due tomorrow.


  1. 1) Makeup work (2P: Jonah; 7P: Alex Collins—quiz + WB pages).  2) Turn in your Lesson Eleven character worksheet.  Turn in your textbook on/before this Friday.  3) Bring in other homework to do tomorrow, if you are done with your oral exam.  4) Ms. Chang will notify certain students to come during E/I tomorrow and Friday.
  2. 2nd Semester Exam: Reading/Listening Part II.




Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/30/12)

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese yo-yo.  3) I can talk about myself in Chinese.

Homework: N/A


  1. 1) Makeup work (3P: Trevor—quiz #3, Sean—draft #2; 5P: Philip, Lexi, Don, Nick—draft #2).  2) Return draft #2 papers.  3) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se, lu se, lan se, zi se, zong se, cheng se, hui se, fen hong se).
  2. 1) Go over all difficult sounds.  Practice reading sentences #1-#10.  2) YouTube video clip:  Chinese Yo-Yo.
