Procedures for 9/4/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/4/12)

目标: 1) I can describe weather.  2) I can discriminate vowels, consonants, and tones in taking dictation.  3) I can recognize and read Chinese text passages fluently.  4) I can listen to audio recording and answer comprehension questions.

功课: 1) 写/知道新生字。2) Practice reading Ni Hao 1 Lessons Seven to Ten at home for character recognition and Q/A session tomorrow. 3) Reviw Hanyun Pinyin for quiz #1 on Friday, 9/7/12.  4) Signature slip due tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) Any signature slip?  2) 听录音 (Lu4 Yin1).  Q/A…
  2. 1) 听写.  2) Class activity: 唸课文 (nian4 ke4 wen2).
  3. 教”你好二第九课天气’: Section One (新生字, 课文): 雨, 雪.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/4/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can blend and discriminate consonant b with other vowels.  3) I can locate major cities in China and know their significances.

Hoework: 1) Review learned terms, consonants and vowels.  2) Complete China reading packet with any resources.  Due on 9/6/12.  3) Signature slip due tomorrow.  4) Greetings unit / China reading packet quiz: Friday, 9/14/12.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Any signature slip?  2) (2P) Complete Supplies section in syllabus.  3) Try to get a book cover by tomorrow for textbook.  4) Pass out and go over China reading packet.  5) Quick review: basic greeting terms and dictation.
  2. Teach new terms (lao shi, zao an, zao, ni zao, zao shang hao).  2) Pass out and go over bpmf handout.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/4/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can acquire historical, geographical and cultural knowledge about China.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Signature slip due tomorrow.  3) Greetings unit quiz: Friday, 9/14/12.

Procedure:

1.         1) Any signature slip?  2) Quick review (5 basic greeting terms).

2.         1) Teach new terms (Lao Shi, Zao, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao).  2) Pass out and go over China reading packet.

3.         1) DVD: General Information for China.  2) Pair activity: read China packet.
