Procedures for 9/7/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/7/12)

目标: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Hanyu pinyin system.  2) I can describe weather.  3) I can call my classmates in their Chinese names.

功课: 1) Be familiar with your classmates’ Chinese name.  2) 写/知道新生字 (气/氣).  3) Ni Hao One Review Exam: Friday, 9/21/12.

程序:

  1. 1) Pass out and practice sounding out classmates’ Chinese name.  Practice for next week’s game.  2) Hanyu pinyin unit quiz.
  2. 1) Teach new character (气/氣).  2) Group activity: making sentences with question words.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/7/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can blend and discriminate consonant b with various vowels. 3) (2P) I can write simple Chinese characters.

Homework: 1) Review learned greetings terms, consonants and vowels.  2) (2P) Complete 2 rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return China reading packet.  Pass out homework to students whose parents attended open house yesterday.  2) Quick Review and dictation (19 terms + b).  (3) (7P) Teach new terms (Tong Xue Men Hao, Dong Le ma?  Dong le, Bu Dong).
  2. 1) (7P) Teach section p.  2) Pass out and go over writing principle chart, square paper, and pinyin (consonants and vowels) chart.  3) (2P) Teach new characters (日, 月).

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/7/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can write simple Chinese characters.

Homework: 1) Review learned 22 terms.  2) Complete two rows for Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (19 terms).  2) Teach new terms (Tong Xue Men Hao, Dong le ma?  Dong le.  Bu Dong).
  2. 1) Pass out and go over simple Chinese character charts and square paper.  2) Teach simple characters (日, 月).
