Procedures for 9/10/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/10/12)

目标: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about China through peers’ presentation.  2) I can make grammatically correct Chinese sentences.

功课: 1) Making Sentences with Key Question Words .  Due on Thursday, 9/13/12.  2) Making Correction worksheet.  Due tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) Return quiz #1 paper.  Pass out Lesson Nine text passages and Making Correction worksheet.  Will e-mail you Rubric for Making Sentences with Key Question Words.  2) HS open house: Wednesday, 9/12.  3) Quick review (5 new weather characters).
  2. Oral presentation (柯智豪, 葛丽真, 谷特妮, 史玖丹).  Q/A.
  3. 1) Go over Rubric for Making Sentences with Key Question Words.  2) Go over sample problems in Making Correction worksheet.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can discriminate consonants b / p with various vowels.  3) I can write simple Chinese characters.

Homework: 1) Read text pages 5-6.  2) Review greeting terms, consonant p with vowel blending.  3) (7P) Complete rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

1.   1) Unit test: Friday, 9/14/12.  Book cover: (2P) Steffen.  Signature slip/China reading packet/Book cover: Amari.  China Reading Packet: Keaton.  2) Quick review + dictation (19/22 terms, b/p).  3) (2P) Teach consonant p.  4) Teach greeting terms (2P: Tong Xue Men Hao, Dong le ma, Dong le, Bu Dong; 7P: Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi).

2.   1) (2P) Teach Chinese characters (木, 人).  2) (7P) Pass out square paper.  Teach Chinese characters (日, 月, 山, 木).

3.   (2P) DVD: Chongqing.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can write simple Chinese characters.  3) I can use chopsticks.  4) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese language.

Homework: 1) Review greeting terms.  2) Complete rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (22 terms + 2 Chinese characters).  Makeup work (3P: Kaden).  2) Teach new terms (Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi. Shang Ke, Xia Ke).
  2. 1) Teach Chinese characters (山, 水).  2) Culture reading: page 3.
  3. 1) DVD: Chongqing.  2) Pass out Chopsticks for holding practice.
