Procedures for 9/17/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/17/12)

目标: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can describe weather.  3) I can call my classmates’ Chinese name.

功课: 1) 下星期一前:  写 / 知道新生字。2) Study your Ni Hao One unit review exam on this Friday, 9/21/12.

程序:

  1. 1) Ni Hao II unit review exam (Lesson One to Lesson Eight): Friday, 5, 2012.  Ni Nao II curriculum and all text passages were e-mailed to you yesterday.  Copy of all text passages will be given to you tomorrow.  2) You will report to media center on Wednesday (9/19) and to media classroom on Thursday to work on a pen pal letter.  Meanwhile you will take your oral exam there.  3) 倪德範picks your senior packet in cafeteria today.  史玖丹 & 葛丽真talk to Ms. Chang, please.  葛丽真& 柯佩芝deliver your sentence after class, please.
  2. 1) Ms. Checks your socks & your WB H/W again (阳冬, 柏莉雅, 米嘉琳, 莫薇芝, 甘士凯, 柯佩芝, 倪德範, 葛丽真, 越野恵一, 乐芝蕾, 李文敦, 史玖丹).  2) Go over WB answer key.  3) Pass out / go over study guide for Ni Hao One unit exam.
  3. 1) Teach new characters (夏, 秋, 冬, 季, 节, 又.. 又,可是 = 但是).  2) Pair practice: conversation questions.  3) 音乐椅子。

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/17/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say numbers in Chinese.  2) I can discriminate and blend consonants b, p, m, f, and d with various vowels.  3) I can acquire knowledge about Huang He.

Homework: 1) Review learned characters / numbers.  2) Complete rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (2P) Matt picks your senior packet in cafeteria today.  Work at the media center on Monday, 9/24/12, to type pinyin & Chinese character, and write your Chinese name.  2) (2P) Captains checks Lesson Three character definitions.  3) Makeup work (2P: Jose, Keaton; 7P: Chloe??).
  2. 1) Quick review (b, p, m, f & 12 characters).  2) Teach new characters (wu, liu, qi, ba).
  3. 1) Pass out / go over d section of dtnl handout.  2) DVD: Huang He.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/17/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can explore Chinese folk art of cutting paper.  2) I can say numbers in Chinese.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy and lucky/unlucky numbers.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Complete rows of Chinese number characters.  Due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (numbers + picture characters).  (3P only) Return quiz papers.  2) Teach new characters (jiu, shi, ling, bai).
  2. Culture reading: (3P only) Chinese calligraphy + Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.
  3. Finish cutting paper patterns.  Collect for grade.
