Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/19/12)

目标: 1) I can write a pen pal letter.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can use interactive game to prepare my Ni Hao One review test.

功课: 1) Study for your review test.  2) Complete your pen pal letter.  Draft due on Friday.

程序:

  1. 1) Work on your pen pal letter.  3) Ms. Chang will draw random two students for the oral exam.
  2. If you are done with your pen pal letter, go to P drive, click Ni Hao One interactive game to review your test.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/19/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can discriminate and blend consonant t with various vowels.  2) I can say numbers in Chinese.  3) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review t section.  2) Review counting principle.

Procedure:

  1. Quiz #3 will cover a) dtnl handout—Friday, 9/28/12, b) connecting the dots, c) 2 numbers each in Chinese & English: Thursday + Friday, 9/27/12-9/28/12.
  2. 1) Teach t section.  2) (7P) Teach characters (jiu, shi, ling, bai).  3) Teach Chinese counting principle.  4) Go over number table.  5) Pair activity: blending vowels and consonants.

3.   (7P) Introduce websites in syllabus.  Follow the instruction to install Asian Input package onto your computer.

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/19/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say numbers in Chinese.  2) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.  3) I can explore Chinese folk art of folding paper.

Homework: 1) Review learned terms (numbers + picture characters—sounds and meanings).  2) Review counting principle.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Count from zero to one hundred.  2) Make two origami products.
