Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (9/25/12)

目标: 1) 我会说说天气。2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

功课: 1) 唸Read Ni Hao Two 第三课第四课。2) 写 / 知道新生字.

程序:

  1. Show your book cover, claim your textbook, and sign your name on the inventory sheet and inside cover of your textbook.
  2. 教生字 (高, 低, 温, 度, 摄, 氏, ó 华氏).
  3. 1) Pass out Ni Hao Two conversation questions.  2) Practice oral questions.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (9/25/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say numbers in Chinese.  2) I can say math equation in Chinese.  3) I can discriminate and blend consonant l with various vowels.

Homework: 1) Review l section.  2) Review counting principle.  Oral quiz: Wednesday / Thursday.  3) Write rows of Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Turn in your Chinese name writing assignment.  2) NSLI-Y scholarship is available for application.  Use the link, http://www.nsliforyouth.org/how-to-apply/, to check out the application form.  Deadline is 11/1/12.  3) Return quiz paper.  4) (2P) Jose talks to Ms. Chang, please.  5) Ms. Chang checked your sock already.  The following students bring in one before Friday, please.  6) Students who plan to re-take need to complete before this Friday!  Come to see Ms. Chang during E/I or 6th period.  7) Missing assignment (2P: Chase, Jake, Keaton, Alex M.; 7P: Justin, Connor).
  2. 1) Teach L section.  2) Teach (加, 减, 等, 于).  3) Teach date (month and day).

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (9/25/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can make sentences for my oral presentation.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese zodiac animals and giant pandas.

Homework: Study number table for quiz #3 this Friday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Practice reading sentences #1-3.  2) Teach new terms (he, liang).  3) Write sentence #4.  4) Showcase Chinese tea leaves.
  2. Culture reading: 1) Chinese zodiac animals.  2) Chinese pandas.
