Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (10/5/12)

目标: I can showcase my mastery of Ni Hao Two curriculum.

功课: 1) Prepare to present your pen pal letter next Monday or Tuesday.  2) E-mail Ms. Chang your pen pal letter by the end of today.  You need it for your oral presentation.  3) WB pages 85-86.

程序:

  1. 1) Chinese Club meets at 2:30 this afternoon.  2) The following students (柯佩芝, 葛沛思, 葛丽真, 哈瑞宁, 希珍薇, 柯智豪, 李白丝, 李文敦, 麥珠莉, 莫薇芝, 柏莉雅, 林凯丽, 史尊凯, 史安敦, 郑阳冬,苏丽雯), please go to main office to pick up your letter of HOBY at 1st or 2nd period.
  2. 1) Makeup work—oral exam (史安敦, 柏莉雅, 希珍薇, 谷特妮, 倪德範).  2) 倪德範, 史科礼,甘博力, 李文敦, 乐芝蕾 (letter, oral exam, exam) talks to Ms. Chang, please.  3) So only 10 students sent me e-file (卡蕾秋, 谷特妮, 李白丝, 麥珠莉, 益怡湘, 史玖丹, 柏莉雅, 苏丽雯, 郑阳冬, 柯智豪).
  3. 1) Questions?  2) Ni Hao Two Unit Review Exam.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (10/5/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can discriminate consonants g, k, h, j, q, and x consonants.  2) I can write my Chinese name accurately.  3) I can read text passages, syllables and math equations fluently.

Homework: WB page 21.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Teach zh, sh, and ch consonants.  2) Captains checks WB pages 19-20.  Go over the answer key.  3) Makeup work—WB pages 15-16, 18??  4) Explain WB page 21.
  2. Quiz #3.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (10/5/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say colors, sports, and animals in Chinese.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese embroidery.  4) I can understand why learning Chinese is important now through viewing a video clip.  5) I can explore Chinese tangram pieces.

Homework: 1) Finalize your art project.  Due next Monday.  2) Practice oral presentation.  Present on Tuesday/ Wednesday.   Bring any of your work to do on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review.  2) Read sentences #1-10.  3) Quiz #4: next Monday.

  3. DVD: Chinese embroidery / Why Chinese?
