Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (10/9/12)

目标: 1) I can present my pen pal letters.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can comprehend statements and answer questions regarding weather.

功课: 1) Practice reading text passages 94-97.  2) Read text pages 99 (bottom) and 100.

程序:

  1. 1) Go over answer key to WB pages 85-86.  2) Practice reading text passages pages 94-97.  Actual reading tomorrow.  3) Oral Q/A.  4) Listening comprehension.
  2. Pen pal letter presentation.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (10/9/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese characters.  2) I can discriminate consonants c, s, and z.  3) I can read and solve math expressions.

Homework: 1) Review learned consonants, c, s, and z.  2) Round robin reading text passages tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Read text passages on page 20.  2) Dictation (sh, r).  3) Go over text pages 19, 21 and 22.  4) Pass out study guide for Lesson Three chapter test.
  2. Teach (c, s, and z).
  3. Oral exam: read/solve math expressions.  ó Class activity: 1) Read flash cards.  2) Read text passages.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (10/9/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese yoyo, Chinese martial arts and Chinese characters.

Homework: Prepare to present your oral presentation, if you have not done so.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (3P) Return your quiz #4 papers.  2) Read your 10 sentences.  3) (3P) Showcase a model 10-sentence work.
  2. Oral presentation.

3.   (3P) DVD: Chinese yoyo.
