Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (10/10/12)

目标: 1) I can present my pen pal letter fluently and accurately.  2) I can understand the requirements of weather project.

功课: Ni Hao 3 Lesson One character definitions.

程序:

  1. 1) Makeup work (李文敦, 乐芝蕾).  2) Pass out Ni Hao 3 Lesson One character worksheet.  3) Pass out / go over weather project checklist.  Previous student work samples will be showcased tomorrow.
  2. 1) Practice / Round robin reading Lesson Nine text passages (pages 94-97).  2) Oral presentation: pen pal letter.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (10/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can read / solve math equations fluently and accurately.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can discriminate and pronounce syllables accurately.

Homework: 1) Turn in your Lesson Three characters worksheet tomorrow.  2) Study for your Lesson Three chapter test.  3) Lesson Two characters worksheet definitions.  4) Quiz #4: zh, ch, sh, r, c, s, z + tones + reading 6 syllables: Friday, 10/19/12.

Procedure:        

  1. 1) Makeup work (Macy: quiz + WB pages; Chloe M. WB pages).  2) Pass out Lesson Two characters worksheet.  3) Dictation: (c, s, z).
  2. 1) Class assessment: Read text passages on page 20.  2) Round robin reading g, k, h, j, q, x, zh, ch, sh, r, c, s, z syllables.
  3. Oral exam: read / solve math expressions ó Class activity: practice flash cards / do homework / practice reading syllables.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (10/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can say body parts and directions in Chinese.  3) I can sing songs / play games in Chinese.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Oral presentation.  2) Art project presentation.
  2. Teach direction terms / Practice “Pin the tail on the donkey” game.
  3. 1) Teach body part terms.  2) Song time: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.  3) Game time: Simon Says.
