Procedures for 10/18/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (10/18/12)

目标: 1) I can create a PPT slide show, a brochure (Publisher), a multi-media poster (Glogster), a movie, or a skit with what I have learned about weather.  2) I can prepare Lesson Nine chapter test through playing interactive game.  3) I can ask and answer simple questions about weather.

功课: 1) Study for your Lesson Nine chapter test.  2) Review your oral exam questions for oral test on next Monday, if you have not done it today.  3) Complete your weather project.  Due in class on Tuesday, 10/24/12.


1.  You have at least three different tasks that you are busy working at: 1) weather project, 2) Lesson Nine oral exam, or 3) Lesson Nine chapter test by playing interactive game by clicking Ms. Chang’s folder under M drive.  Then click 3rd edition, Ni Hao 2 game, Lesson Nine.

2.  Ms. Chang will be out of town over this weekend and will be on the road most of the time.  Any proof reading has to be done on Friday or next Monday.





Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (10/18/12)


Objectives: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about how Chinese greet people, how to make Chinese dragon knots, and how to pronounce consonants and vowels through watching videos.  2) I can pronounce syllables accurately and fluently.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (10/18/12)


Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese.  2) I can acquire historical, geographical and cultural knowledge about China and major cities in China through reading and watching video clips.

Homework: 1) Review 9 learned terms.  2) Greetings unit quiz: Monday, 10/29/12.


1.   1) Any signature slip?  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Ni Shi, Wo Shi).

2.   1) Teach new terms (Lao Shi, Lao Shi Hao, Zhang Lao Shi, Zao An, Ni Zao, Zao Shang Hao).  2) Culture reading: China.

3.   1) DVD: Shanghai & Chongqing.  2) Pass out / (5P) go over square paper and chart for Chinese picture characters.
