Procedures for 11/12/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (11/12/12)

目标: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions about school subjects and test results.  2) I can prepare for my chapter test through playing interactive game.  3) I can enrich my Chinese learning with Chinese songs through viewing videos.

功课: 1) Study for your chapter test on Wednesday, 11/14/12.  2) Turn in your Lesson One character worksheet on Wednesday, 11/14/12.  3) Practice your oral exam, if you have not done so today.


  1. Take turns to complete your Lesson One oral exam.
  2. Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, Ni Hao 3 game, and Lesson One to play interactive game to review for your chapter test.

  4. Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (11/12/12)


Objectives: 1) I can state my age and birthday, and any date in Chinese.  2) I can introduce myself and others. 3) I can apply what I have learned to create a skit with a partner.  4) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Write Chinese characters.  Know their meanings and sounds by Thursday.  2) Practice your oral exam.


  1. 1) Makeup work (2P: Keaton, Suzu).  2) Pass out field trip information.  3) Turn in your re-take application form at the end of the class.  4) Work in media center tomorrow and the day after.
  2. 1) Quick review (谁, 啊, 欢, 迎, 岁).  2) Teach new characters (今, 年, 今年, 今天, 明天, 明年, 几, 两, 生, 生日, 学生).  3) Teach date format and sentence pattern (今天是…年…月…日, 我的生日是…年…月…日).
  3. Lesson Two oral example Q/A session.
  4. Pass out / go over Lessons 2, 3, and 4 skit checklist.




Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (11/12/12)


Objectives: 1) I can recognize numbers from one to one hundred in Chinese.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  3) I can name colors in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review learned color terms.  2) Quiz #4: Monday, 11/19/12.


  1. 1) Return oral presentation draft #1.  Can rewrite for better credit.  2) Write sentence #6.  3) Practice reading sentences #1-#6.
  2. 1) Pass out color flash cards.  2) Teach new terms (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).
  3. Quiz #3.
