Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (11/14/12)

目标: I can showcase my mastery of Lesson One materials.

功课: 1) Lesson Two character definitions.  2) Prepare to present your skit tomorrow.  3) Review learned characters.

程序:

  1. 1) Turn in your Lesson One character worksheet.  Pass out Lesson Two character worksheet.  2) Makeup work (史安敦, 哈瑞寧, 倪德範, 甘士凯, 甘博力, 史科礼, 史尊凯).  Talk to Ms. Chang, please.  3) Makeup oral exam (甘博力, 谷特妮, 金泰德, 郑阳冬, 李文敦, 莫薇芝, 史科礼).  Make an appointment with Ms. Chang and get it done before the end of Friday, please.
  2. Questions?  Lesson One chapter test.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (11/14/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can greet people, introduce myself or other people.  2) I can apply what I have learned to create a skit with a partner.  3) I can sharpen my listening skill and acquire culture knowledge about Chinese home, family, food and restaurants through watching video clips.

Homework: 1) Prepare to present your skit on next Monday.  2) Practice reading text passages on page 23.  3) Skit due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Permission slip (郑伊锦).  The following students (施博凯, 欧良科, 布康能, 黄可兒, 答絲莉, 罗思德) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  Make up work—Lesson Four character definitions (答絲莉, 施博凯, 欧良科, 如杰生, 莫珂伊).  2) High school students (莫力德, 罗思德, 佐藤铃) take your oral exam and show Ms. Chang Lesson Four definitions, please.  3) Work with your partner to draft your skit and type your script.
  2. If you are done with your script, draw your stick to finish reading 3 pinyin sentences from Review Sound1 handout to Ms. Chang.
  3. Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (11/14/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors, animals, and sports in Chinese.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  3) I can acquire culture knowledge about Chinese zodiac animals.

Homework: Review learned color terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (5P: Miranda).  (5P) Miranda and Gianni talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se, lan se, lv se, zong se, zi se).  3) (3P) Teach new terms (cheng se, hui se, fen hong se).  (5P) Teach new terms (lan se, lv se, zong se, zi se).
  2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese zodiac animals.  2) Pass out / go over sports and zodiac animals handouts.  Supplementary terms?  3) Write sentence #8-10.  Collect draft #2.
