Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (11/20/12)

目标: 1) I can talk about things that are related to school life.  2) I can ask and answer simple Chinese questions.

功课: 1) Translation worksheet due: Monday, 11/26/12.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 16-17.  Round robin reading pages 16-17 on Tuesday, 11/27/12.

程序:

  1. 1) Turn in your homework assignment of making 4 sentences.  2) Teach new characters and terms (哦, 嘘, 话, 说话, 说大话, 忘, 忘记, 记得, 借).
  2. Pair activity: complete translation questions.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (11/20/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can welcome people, identify people, and state ages.  2) I can sight read pinyin sentences and text passages.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Complete character writing assignment.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 23-25 and pinyin sentences #1-#12.  3) Lesson Four Oral exam: Tuesday + Wednesday, 11/27-11/28.  Lesson Four round robin reading: Thursday, 11/29/12.  Lesson Four chapter test: Friday, 11/30/12.

Procedure:

1.   1) Makeup work—WB pages (2P: Maisy, Suzu + Stephen; 7P: Erin, Brielle, Chloe).  2) (2P) Return skit papers.  3) Work in the media center on Tuesday and Wednesday (11/27 and 11/28) for Lesson Four oral exam.

2.   1) Teach pinyin sentences #10-#12 / reading sentences #1-#9.  2) Teach characters (马, 克, 祝).  3) Read text passages on pages 23-25.

3.   1) Listening activity: WB page 22.  Go over answer key.  2) Q/A session with Ms. Chang.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (11/20/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can explore Chinese pop music.  3) I can explore Tangram pieces game.

Homework: Complete your art project.  Due next Tuesday, 11/27/12.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work/test (3P: Adam; 5P: Kevin).  2) Return quiz papers.  3) Read sentences #1-#10.
  2. Pass out / explore Tangram pieces game.
  3. 1) Chinese rapping songs.  2) DVD: Panda Adventure—10 minutes.
