Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (11/8/12)

 

目标: I can apply what I learned before to create a skit with a partner. 

功课: 1) Skit due in class tomorrow.  2) Round robin reading (formative assessment) text pages 3-5 tomorrow. 

程序:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks your作业本第十一页第六到第十题和第十三页。2) Complete / print out your skit.  Turn it in with your check list tomorrow. 
  2. If you are done with your skit, please go to I drive.  Click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, and then click Lesson One for interactive games.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (11/8/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately.  2) I can discriminate back nasal sounds.  3) I can carry on a simple greeting conversation questions. 

Homework: 1) Write new characters.  2) Practice reading pinyin sentences and oral exam. 

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work/test (2P: Keaton, Bridget; 7P: Andrew, Sean, Jackson); 2) Captains check Lesson Four character definitions.  3) Data analysis—retake form / share study strategies. 
  2. 1) Teach back nasal sounds (uang, iang).  2) Teach Review sound 1 sentences #19-#21.  3) Teach characters (谁, 啊, 欢, 迎, 岁).
  3. 1) Pass out / go over oral exam sample questions.  2) Pair activity: conversation questions. 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (11/8/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can say family member terms in Chinese.  3) (3P) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese tea.  4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project. 

Homework: Practice reading sentences #1-#4. 

Procedure:

  1. 1) (3P) Return papers.  Makeup work (5P: Maranda).  2) Teach terms (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei). 3) Teach terms (jia, ge, ren, you, he, liang).
  2. 1) Write sentences #3-#4.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#4. 
  3. 1) (3P) DVD: Chinese tea.  2) Showcase art project samples (PPT, movies).
