Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (12/12/12)

目标: 1) I can talk about various transportation modes.  2) I can present my second pen pal letter.  功课: 1) Be familiar with building classroom terms.  2) Prepare to present your pen pal letter, if you have not done so today.

程序:

  1. 1) Turn in your movie unit anticipation guide.  2) Return Lesson Two character worksheet.  Makeup work (郑阳冬, 甘博力, 益怡湘, 卡蕾秋—character worksheet, 甘士凯 + 柏莉雅 + 谷特妮—test + character worksheet).  3) Quick review (走, 路, 走路, 马路, 路人, 问路, 带路, 自, 自行车, 火车, 火山, 汽车, 公共汽车, 水汽, 汽水, 空气, 天气, 生气).
  2. 1) Pen pal letter presentation.  2) Pass out / floor plans + Supplementary terms handout.  4) Let Ms. Chang know your partner for Amazing Race project.

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (12/12/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy and early Chinese invention.

Homework: Practice conversation questions for your oral exam tomorrow.

Procedure:

1.   1) Captains check WB pages 30-31.  Go over answer key.  2) Go over WB page 30 text passages.  3) Pass out /go over Lesson Five chapter test study guide.  4) Interested in teaching origami?  Claim a few models, please.

2.   1) Culture reading: textbook pages 41-42.  2) Practice writing sample problems.

 

**   Assembly schedule today.  30 minutes / period.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (12/12/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese.  2) I can use chopsticks to pick up food.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese characters and folk art of paper cuts.

Homework: Review 22 learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (5P) Collect/Return Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Quick review (18 terms).  3) Teach new terms (Qi Li, Jing Li, Qing Zuo, Zuo Xia).  4) (3P) Teach new character (fire).  Collect character writing assignment.
  2. 1) (%P) DVD: Chinese characters.  2) DVD: Chinese paper cuts.
  3. 1) Pass out / learn how to hold chopsticks.  2) (5P) Practice picking up cheerios with chopsticks.
