Procedures for 12/13/12

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (12/13/12)

目标: 1) I can talk about various transportation modes.  2) I can present my pen pal letter.

功课: 1) Complete Chinese characters writing assignment.  2) Prepare to present your pen pal letter if you have not done so.

程序:

1.   1) Makeup work (Anticipation Guide: 郑阳冬,史科礼, 史玖丹, 林凯丽,柏莉雅, 倪德範, 甘士凯,金泰德).  2) Quick review (走, 路, 走路, 马路, 路人, 自, 自行车, 火车, 汽车, 汽水).  3) Teach new characters (坐 ó 做 ó 作, 天天) + two sentence patterns (你怎么上学?要多长时间).  4) Oral Q/A practice with new sentence patterns.

2.   Pen pal letter presentation. 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (12/13/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can review my chapter test through playing an interactive game.

Homework: 1) Study for your chapter test.  2) Practice your oral exam if you do not get done today.

Procedure:

1.   Lesson Five chapter test reschedules to Tuesday, 12/18/12.

2.   Students are randomly drawn in pairs to conduct their oral exam <=> 1) Please go to I drive, click Chang folder, click 3rd edition game, click Ni Hao 1, log into with any name, and then click Lesson Five to play and review for your chapter test.  2) Practice/prepare your oral exam.  3) Practice reading Lesson Five text passages.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (12/13/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese school.  3) I can use chopsticks to pick up food.  4) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper cuts.

Homework: 1) Review 26 learned terms.  2) Quiz #1: Monday, 12/17/12.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return character writing assignment.  2) Quick review (22 terms).  3) Teach new terms (Dong le ma, Dong le, Bu Dong, Tong Xue men Hao).
  2. 1) Culture reading: China (page 3).  2) DVD: Chinese schools.  3) (3P) Practice holding chopsticks with cheerios.  4) (5P) Pass out / go over paper-cut patterns.  Collect as participation grade.
