Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (12/10/12)

目标: I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Two materials.

功课: 1) Lesson Three character definitions.  2) Prepare to present your second pen pal letter from tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) Makeup work (莫薇芝, 哈瑞宁, 倪德範—oral exam; Pen Pal Letter #1: 柯佩芝, 卡蕾秋, 乐芝蕾, 米嘉琳, 倪德範, 史玖丹, 史安敦); Pen Pal Letter #2—need pictures (倪德範); Story book: (哈瑞宁, 金泰德, 越野, 李文敦, 倪德範, 史科礼, 史安敦).  2) Turn in your Lesson Two character worksheet.  Pass out Lesson Three characters worksheet.
  2. 1) Questions?  2) Lesson Two chapter test.

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (12/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name school supplies.  2) I can state ownership, ask questions and express negative situations.

Homework: 1) Write Chinese characters.  2) WB pages 28-29.  3) Practice reading text pages 32-35.  Round robin reading: Wednesday, 12/12/12.

Procedure:

1.   1) Quick review (书, 书包, 不, 知道, 吗, 笔, 尺, 毛笔, 剪刀, 刀子, 什么, 这, 那, 谁的).  2) Makeup work (2P: 郑伊锦; 7P: 简本特, 美玲).  3) Work in the Medial Center for review / oral exam on Thursday / Friday, (12/13/12 and 12/14/12).  4) Chinese Club: Origami activity, Friday, 12/14/12.  Let Ms. Chang know whether you are coming.

2.   1) Teach new characters (橡皮, 皮包, 大概, 一概, 客气, 客人, 生气, 天气, 小气, 大气).  2) Read text passages on pages 32-35.

3.   Conversation questions practice.  Q/A with Ms. Chang

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (12/10/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese characters.  3) I can write simple Chinese picture characters.

Homework: 1) Review 14 learned terms.  2) Complete character writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (11 terms).  2) Teach new terms (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi).
  2. 1) Video clips: Chinese characters.  2) Teach Chinese characters (shan, kou, mu).
