Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (12/6/12)

目标: 1) I can apply what I have learned to create a story dialogue/script with my partner.  2) I can review for my Chapter test through playing an interactive game.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions about school.

功课: 1) Story dialogue/script draft due at the end of the class period tomorrow.  2) Revised 2nd pen pal letter due at the end of the class period tomorrow.  3) E-mail Ms. Chang your 1st pen pal letter by the end of tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) Makeup work (倪德範).  Return papers.  2) Students are randomly drawn in pairs for Lesson Two oral exam.
  2. Pair activity: Brainstorm ideas / Draft story dialogue / script .
  3. Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click Ni Hao 3rd edition interactive game.  Then log in with any name, and click Lesson Two for review.
  4. Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (12/6/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name school supplies.  2) I can ask and answer questions about school supplies and ownership.  3) I can sight read text passages fluently and accurately.  4) I can review what I have learned through fun chanting.

Homework: 1) Practice conversation questions.  2) Lesson Five chapter test: Monday, 12/17/12.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (7P) Pass out exit slip. (5P) Pass out Lesson Five text passages slip.  2) Quick review (笔, 尺, 毛笔, 剪刀, 刀子, 什么, 这, 那, 的, 谁的, 我的, 你的, 他的, 她的, 我们的, 你们的, 他们的, 她的, 吗).  3) Conversation questions practice.  Q/A with Ms. Chang.
  2. 1) Read text passages on pages 32-34.  2) Chanting time.
  3. Read 3 sentences to Ms. Chang ó Pair activity: 1) Conversation practice.  2) Practice chanting.  3) Practice reading pinyin sentences.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (12/6/12)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese.  2) (3P) I can acquire historical, geographical and cultural knowledge about China and major cities in China through reading and watching video clips.  3) I can define what Hanyu Pinyin is.

Homework: 1) Review 7 learned terms.  2) Greetings unit quiz: Monday, 12/17/12.

Procedure:

1.   1) Any signature slip?  2) Return China reading packet.  Makeup work (5P: Jake).  3) Quick review (Ni Hao, Ni Shi, Wo Shi).

2.   1) Go over Introduction to Hanyu Pinyin handout.  2) Teach new terms (Lao Shi, Lao Shi Hao, Zhang Lao Shi, Zai Jian).  3) (3P) DVD: Chongqing.
