Procedures for 1/2/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (1/2/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about modes of transportation, distance and time needed between two places.  2) I can express where I live.  3) I can make 2013 New Year’s resolutions.

功课: 1) Complete your 2013  New Year’s Resolutions.  Due tomorrow.  2) Write new characters.  3) Practice reading text passages on pages 28-29, & 31.  4) WB page 28 (#1, #3, #4, #7, #9, #10, #13).  5) Storybook due on Friday, 1/4/13.  Turn in your draft, completed storybook, and checklist.

程序:

1.   1) Scholarship opportunity: Concordia Passport Fund Scholarship: for students aged 7-18 Program are one, two, and four weeks long, with the four-week program offering one year of high school language credit. Scholarship deadline is February 28.  2) Turn in your storybook dialogue draft + complete storybook + checklist.  3) Makeup work—movie comprehension questions (甘博力, 葛沛思, 益怡湘, 李白丝, 李文敦, 乐芝蕾, 倪德範).

  1. 1) Pass out / go over your 2011 and 2013 New Year Resolutions.  2) Quick review (走路, 马路, 路人, 自行车, 火车, 汽车, 坐, 天天, 钟/鐘 = 时钟/時鐘, 离 = 到, 远/遠, 近, 里, 英里, 公里).  3) Read text passages on text pages 28-29, and 31.
  2. 1) Teach new characters (住, 住址, 区, 学区, 地区, 山, 冰山, 南, 东西南北).  2) Pass out / go over oral exam sample questions. 3) Conversation Q/A.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (1/2/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my family and myself.  2) I can make New Year’s resolutions for 2013.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

Homework: 1) Complete writing Chinese characters.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 43.  3) Writing a paragraph about your family.  Due on Friday, 1/11/13.  4) New Year’s Resolutions worksheet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

1.   Makeup work—photograph (due today).  2) Quick review (家, 爸, 妈/媽, 哥, 弟, 姊/姐, 妹, 有, 个).  3) Pass out / go over 2013 New Year’s Resolutions.

2.   1) Teach new characters (和, 也, 工, 护, 士, 工人, 学士, 护士).  2) Read text passage on page 43.  3) Go over text passage on page 44.  4) Go over writing requirements (text pages 43-45).

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (1/2/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and recognize picture and number characters in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese painting.  3) I can count from zero to one hundred.  Homework: 1) Review 20 learned characters for quiz #2 this Friday, 1/4/13.  2) Review counting principle.  3) Quiz #3: Wednesday, 1/9/13.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (5P: Jazmine: cutting paper patterns).  2) Quick review (20 characters).
  2. 1) Pass out / go over number table.  2) Teach Chinese counting principle.  3) Counting from zero to one hundred.
  3. DVD: Chinese painting and Chinese New Year painting.
