Procedures for 1/3/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (1/3/13)

目标: 1) I can ask and answer questions about transportation mode, distance and time needed between two places.  2) I can express where I live.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1).  WB page 30 & 33.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 28-31.  Round robin reading: Monday, 1/7/13.  Lesson Three chapter test part I: Friday, 1/11/13.

程序:

1.   1) Interested in studying abroad or hosting an exchange students?  If yes, please attend an AFS meeting at Media center on 1/10/13.  2) Collect 2013 New Year’s Resolutions.  3) Midterm schedule: Tuesday 1/22 – 5th, 3rd, 6th, Wednesday 1/23 – 9th, 8th, 4th, Thursday 1/24 – 2nd, 1st, 7th.

2.   1) Captains check WB page 28.  Go over answers to all questions.  2) Quick review (住, 区, 山, 南).  3) Go over text passages on page 30.  4) Read text passages on pages 28-31.

3.   1) Interview activity: WB page 29.  2) Interview sharing + reporting.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (1/3/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can introduce my family and myself.  2) I can understand the requirements for my year-end project.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

Homework: 1) WB pages 33-34, & 38.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 43-44.  Lesson Six chapter test: Friday, 1/11/13.

Procedure:

1.   1) Collect New Year’s Resolutions.  2) Quick review (家, 爸, 妈/媽, 哥, 弟, 姊/姐, 妹, 有, 个, 和, 也, 工, 护, 士).

2.  1) Pass out / go over year-end “All about Me” project checklist.  2) Read text passages on pages 43-44.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (1/3/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and recognize picture and number characters in Chinese.   2) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review all 20 picture and numbers characters.  2) 12-number-character writing assignment due tomorrow.  3) Review counting principle.  4) Quiz #2: tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Count from zero to one hundred.  2) Quick review (20 characters).
  2. Origami: complete gift box.  Collect as participation grade.
