Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (1/7/13)
目标: 1) I can read text passages fluently. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
功课: 1) Read your storybook in pairs to Ms. Chang on Thursday, 1/10/13. 2) WB pages 39 (#1-#6) + 41.
程序:
- 1) Work in Media Center on Thursday, 1/10/13. Return Storybook. Makeup work (史玖丹/ 柏莉雅, 史尊凯 / 史安敦, 越野 / 哈瑞宁). 2) Captains check WB page 38. Go over answer key. 3) Pass out / go over Lesson Three Chapter Test Part I study guide. 4) Explain WB page 41.
- 1) Quick reading: text passages on pages 28-31. 2) Round robin reading.
Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (1/7/13)
Objectives: 1) I can talk and write about myself and my family. 2) I can read text passages fluently.
Homework: 1) Lesson Six round robin reading: Thursday, 1/10/13. 2) Character writing assignment. 3) Finish family sentences #1-#2. 4) WB page 40.
Procedure:
1. 1) HS students: family picture due today. 2) Captains check WB page 35. Go over answer key. 3) Quick review (家, 爸, 妈/媽, 哥, 弟, 姊/姐, 妹, 有, 个, 和, 也, 工, 护, 士, 姓, 叫, 医生). 4) (7P) Go over text passages on pages 45-46.
2. 1) Teach new characters (呢, 没, 有 ó 没有, 名字, 生字, 名人, 有名). 2) Writing paragraph—sentences #1-#2.
Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (1/7/13)
Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of 20 picture and number characters. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project. 4) I can count from zero to one hundred.
Homework: 1) Review counting principle. 2) Practice reading sentences #1-#4. 3) Art project due: Tuesday, 1/22. Oral presentation: Tuesday-Wednesday, 1/22/13-1/23/13.
Procedure:
- 1) Collect 12 characters writing assignment. 2) Count from zero to one hundred. 3) Teach terms (jia, you, ge ren). 4) Write sentence #3. 5) Read sentences #1-#3.
- 1) Go over art project requirements. 2) Showcase art project samples.
- Quiz #2.
