Procedures for 1/10/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (1/10/13)

目标: 1) I can read my storybook fluently.  2) I can review my chapter test through playing interactive game.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge through viewing a video clip about Hangzhou.

功课: Study for your chapter test tomorrow.

程序:

  1. 1) AFS meeting at the Media Center this afternoon.  2) Makeup work (史玖丹, 莫薇芝, 乐芝蕾).  3) Go to M drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, log in and click Lesson Three for review game.  4) Click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LPbUa-JhkE for introduction of Hangzhou.  5) Research on “Mao’s Last Dancer” about author, setting, etc.
  2. Take turns reading your story book to Ms. Chang.

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (1/10/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can write a paragraph about my family.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can prepare and review for my chapter test through playing interactive game.

Homework: 1) Family paragraph printout due tomorrow.  2) Study for your chapter test.  3) Lesson Six character writing assignment due tomorrow.  4) Go over sentence patterns on pages 47-48.

Procedure:

1.   1) (2P) Show your WB page 36 to Ms. Chang, please.  (2P) You will have Mrs. Boyne cover Ms. Chang on 1/24/13.  Be sure to complete your midterm oral exam since you only have two days (1/22-1/23).  Utilize E/I, please.  2) Type your family paragraph.  Print out a copy for Ms. Chang.

2.   Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, log in and click Lesson Six for review game.

3.   1) Read text passages to Ms. Chang.  2) If you are done with all 3 activities, practice conversation questions.

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (1/10/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say my phone number and colors in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers, and Chinese schools.  3) I can brainstorm art project samples.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#6.  2) Review learned terms.  3) Finalize your art project theme and medium.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (5P: Grace, Zach, Jake).  Retake needs to be done tomorrow.  2) Return / go over oral presentation draft #1.
  2. Culture reading: Chinese lucky + unlucky numbers + Chinese school.
  3. 1) Write oral presentence sentence #6.  2) Read sentences #1-#6.  3) (3P) Pass out / (5P) Make colors flashcards.  4) Teach terms (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).
