Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (2/28/13)

目标: 1) I can prepare for Amazing Race project.  2) I can talk about leisure life.

功课: 1) Practice reading text passages on pages 44-45.  2) WB pages 45-46.  Due Monday, 3/4.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (2/28/13)


Objectives: 1) I can talk about nationality and language skills.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  4) I can enjoy Chinese chanting and tongue twisters.

Homework: N/A (Hurray!)

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (2/28/13)


Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can name colors in Chinese.  3) I can utilize a website tool to type Chinese pinyin.  4) I can recognize Chinese character representation of numbers from one to ninety-nine.

Homework: 1) Quiz #4: Wednesday, 3/6/13.  2) Review learned color terms.


  1. 1) (2P) Complete quiz #3.  2) Pass out / go over animals / sports handouts.  Any supplementary term needed?  3) Teach terms (xi huan, zui).  4) Write sentences #8-#9.  Read sentences #6-#9.
  2. 1) Introduce website utility.  2) (3P) Pass out colors flash cards.  3) (3P) Teach (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).
