Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (2/15/13)

目标: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can create a skit with a partner by applying what I have learned before.  3) I can explore cultural enrichment activities.

程序:

  1. 1) Students will be taking oral exam randomly ó Type your skit.  (Need to have a minimum of 25 sentences, no more than 8 of Chinese I sentences).
  2. 3.   Turn in your skit printout w/checklist before the end of the class period.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (2/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create a skit with a partner by applying what I have learned before.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can create a PPT project to talk about my pets.  4) I can review for my chapter test on next Tuesday.

Homework: Study for your chapter test on next Tuesday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Students will be drawn randomly to take oral exam.  2) Type your skit.
  2. Transfer your paragraph about pet into your PPT project and insert pictures for your pets.
  3. 1) Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click Ni Hao 3rd edition, log onto the system, and click Lesson Seven to review for your chapter test.  2) Click the following links for Chinese songs:
  4. Turn in your skit print out with your checklist (1 per pair) and PPT (your own slides of pets) printout at the end of the class period.
  5. Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (2/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can recognize 20 Chinese characters.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese painting and Chinese New Year painting.  3) I can understand Chinese counting principle.  4) I can explore origami.

Homework: 1) Review Chinese counting principle handout.  2) Review 20 Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (20 Chinese characters).  2) Pass out / go over number table.  3) Teach Chinese counting principle.  4) Count from zero to one hundred.
  2. DVD: Chinese painting + Chinese New Year painting.
  3. Pass out / prepare origami papers.  Origami activity: make pinwheel.
