Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (2/19/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about extra curricular activities.  2) I can create a skit with a partner to apply what I have learned before.

功课: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Skit presentation starts from Thursday.  3) Amazing Race: Friday, 3/1/13. Review terms for colors + clothing + fruits + weather + math operators + money expressions + subjects + directions + offices.  Practice origami + kiligami + tangram.

程序:

  1. 1) Makeup work—character worksheet (柯佩芝, 谷特妮); oral exam—road map (哈瑞宁, 乐迪恩, 李文敦, 苏丽雯); oral exam—conversation questions (哈瑞宁, 卡蕾秋, 李文敦, 史尊凯); round robin reading (越野, 李文敦, 苏丽雯); skit draft—哈瑞宁/金泰德,2) Quick review (音乐会, 节目, 新闻, 比, 比赛, 赛车).
  2. 1) Teach new characters and terms (片, 动画片, 迷, 迷路, 电视迷, 电脑迷, 球迷, 影迷, 剧, 电视剧, 歌剧, 京剧, 舞台剧, 无, 无聊, 聊天).  2) Return skit draft.  Work with your partner to polish and rehearse your presentation.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (2/19/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can read text passages fluently.  2) I can prepare for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) Review for your chapter test tomorrow.  2) Skit presentation starts from Thursday.  3) Character worksheet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work—pet slide (2P: 丁杰克, 柯泽杰, 施博凯, 许杰洋, 郑伊锦; 7P: 丁雅丽, 罗思明, 莫珂依, 苏力文, 魏武庆, 如杰生); oral exam (2P: 丁杰克, 柏科思, 莫力德, 雷备克, 罗思德, 佐藤, 甘捷力; 7P: 丁雅丽, 罗思明, 柏文杰, 贺德文, 皮威特, 苏力文, 魏武庆, 如杰生); skit (2P: 丁杰克/许杰洋, 莫力德, 雷备克; 7P: 魏武庆, 苏力文); movie discussion questions (2P: 甘捷力).  2) Return papers (movie discussion questions / skit draft / pet PPT slides).  3) (7P) Captains heck WB page 47.  Go over answer key.  4) Chinese Club meeting: Friday, 2/22/13.  Bring in your mini staple / glue gun.  5) Claim all you cooking supplies, please.
  2. 1) Round robin reading (2P: 罗凯文, 丁杰克, 黄可儿, 施博凯, 郑伊锦) + (entire 7P).  2) Writing practice.  3) Work with your partner to polish and rehearse your skit.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (2/19/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and write numbers in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.  3) I can count from zero to one hundred.  4) I can explore origami.

Homework: 1) Review for your quiz #2 tomorrow.  2) 12-character writing assignment due tomorrow.  3) Review Counting principle.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (20 Chinese characters).  2) Count from zero to one hundred.
  2. Culture reading: lucky and unlucky numbers.
  3. Origami: complete pin wheel + gift box.
