Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/4/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about my leisure life.  2) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Round robin reading (pages 44-45): Thursday, 3/7/13.  3) WB page 47.  4) Lesson Four chapter test: Friday, 3/22/13.

程序:

  1. 1) Revised bell schedule today.  1P (7:25-7:55) – 3P are shortened by 10 minutes each period.  9:15 AM Assembly.  2) You will take reading, math, writing, science and social studies exams from 7:25 to 9:25 on 3/11, 3/12, 3/13, 3/14 and 3/15 respectively.  Ms. Chang will be at HS and you will work at Red Lab on your project.  3) Parent-Teacher conference, 4-7 PM on Thursday, 3/7/13.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/4/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about nationality and language skills.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Lesson Eight chapter test: Friday, 3/8/13.  Oral exam: Wednesday-Thursday, 3/6-3/7.  Round robin reading: Wednesday – Friday.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  3) WB page 53.

Procedure:

  1. 1) 2P students work on Computer Lab 1 this Wednesday and Thursday.  7P students work on Computer Lab 2 on Wednesday only.  2) Quick review (对不起, 没关系, 中国, 中国人, 中文, 美国, 美国人, 英国, 英国人, 英文, 德国, 德国人, 德文, 哪, 日本, 说, 加拿大, 加拿大人, 生日, 一本书, 本子, 日本人, 日文, 澳大利亚, 澳大利亚人, 新西兰, 新西兰人).  3) Teach new characters / terms (问, 请问, 咦, 汉, 语, 汉语, 汉人, 语文, 点, 得, 里, 哪里 = 哪儿, 哪里哪里).
  2. Practice conversation questions.  Q/A session.

 

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (3/4/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese.  2) (5P) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese food.  3) I can talk about myself in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review learned color terms.  2) Art project due tomorrow.  Bring in your work for the class.  3) Oral presentation starts on Wednesday, 3/6/13.  4) Quiz #4: Thursday, 3/7/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) (3P) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se, lan se, lv se, zi se, zong se).  Teach new terms (hui se, cheng se, fen hong se).  2) (5P) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  Teach new terms (lan se, lv se, zong se, zi se).

2.      1) Return draft #2.  Read sentences #1-#10.  2) (3P) Culture reading: Chinese food  

3.      1) DVD: Chinese programs in America.  2) (3P) Slide show: Chinese class / Chinese Club activities.  3) Chinese One class roster.
