Procedures for 3/5/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/5/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about my Amazing Race project.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) WB pages 49 + 52.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 44-46.

程序:

  1. 1) Captains check WB pages 47.  Go over answer key.  2) Quick review (弹钢琴 / 电子琴 / 风琴 / 吉他, 教, 拉小提琴 / 中提琴 / 大提琴, 古典, 别人).  3) Makeup work—round robin reading pages 42-43 (甘博力, 哈瑞宁, 史玖丹, 越野).  4) Read text passages on pages 44-45.  5) Go over text passage on page 46.
  2. 1) Interview activities: WB page 43.  2) Share interview result.
  3. Review Amazing Race.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/5/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can prepare for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) WB page 54.  2) Complete two sentences about language skills / nationality.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check WB page 53.  Go over answer key.  Go over WB page 53.  2) Go over text pages 69 / 72.
  2. 1) Pass out / go over Lesson Eight chapter test Study Guide.  2) Writing practice.
  3. 1) Conversation question practice. Q/A ó 2) WB page 54 + writing two sentences about your nationality and language skills.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (3/5/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create an art project by applying what I have learned before.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  3) I can name colors in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review oral presentation draft.  Oral presentation tomorrow.  Quiz #4 (colors): Thursday.  2) Bring in your work for the class.

Procedure:

  1. 1.      1) (3P) Quick review (11 colors).  (5P) Quick review (8 colors).  Teach new terms (cheng se, hui se, fen hong se).  2) Read oral presentation sentences #1-#10.  3) Ms. Chang checks all students’ art project.  4) Art project presentation, if interested.    
  2. Slide show (Chinese I class New Year cooking + Chinese Club activities).
