Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/6/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about my leisure life.  2) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Practice reading text passages on pages 44-46.  3) Round robin reading (text pages 44-45) tomorrow.


  1. 1) Tornado drill at 9:40 this morning.  2) Pass out OGT rotating bell schedule.  3) Student Job Fair from 3:30-6:00 on Thursday, 3/7 at CVCC.  Dress appropriately—no jeans or tee shirts and wear a tie—for interview.  4) Captains check WB pages 49 + 52 homework assignment.  Go over answer key.  5) Read text passages on pages 44-46.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/6/13)


Objectives: 1) I can create a PPT by applying what I have learned in class.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can review chapter test by playing interactive game.

Homework: Study for your chapter test + oral exam (if you have not done so today) + round robin reading.


  1. Please create a PPT slide with pictures to include your nationality and language skills.  Print out a copy for Ms. Chang.
  2. Please go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, and click Ni Hao 3rd edition interactive game icon.  Log in, click Lesson Eight to play interactive game to review for your chapter test.
  3. If not volunteered, students will be randomly drawn in pairs to complete oral exam.

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese cooking and China through browsing Chinese cook books and literature work.  3) I can explore Chinese tangram pieces game + origami.

Homework: 1) Review your oral presentation sentences, if you have not done so today.  2) Quiz #4 (colors) tomorrow.  3) Bring in your own work for the class.
